Sinmiao has a professional team specialized in tooling design and manufacturing. All members are veterans in development of investment casting tooling of super-alloys parts for aviation and gas turbine industry. Equipped with advanced Makino 5-axis and 3-axis machining centers and EDM machines, we design and make our own tooling. This effectively reduces the production cycle, and significantly saves costs for our customers.

Sinmiao has built a temperature and humidity-constant wax pattern workshop including MPI wax injector and 3D wax pattern printer, and assembled a team of highly skilled technicians. This ensures batch production of wax patterns and its consistency in quality.

Sinmiao has introduced two fully automated shell-making production lines, and built a temperature and humidity-constant shelling workshop, with a professional  laboratory. These ensure the shelling process being controllable and stable, significantly improved shell reliability and process consistency.

Sinmiao equipped with 4 premium furnaces (Seco/Warwick) with 2 equiaxed vacuum furnaces (25kg, 50kg, 100kg and 150kg) and 2 single-crystal/directional solidification furnaces (15kg, 25kg and 50kg). We plan to add 3 more equiaxed vacuum furnaces and 2 more single-crystal/directional solidification ALD vacuum furnaces, to meet the manufacturing demands for hot-end components of aircraft engine and gas turbines.

Sinmiao divides its post-processing process into five critical steps including shell removal, cutting, gate grinding, sandblasting and finishing. We design and purchase all equipment and tools involved in these processes, per top standard within the industry. In particular, our hydraulic shell removal line effectively ensures both efficiency and cleanliness during shell removal.

Sinmiao has complete grain size inspection capacity for single-crystal, directionally solidified and equiaxed crystal products, on automatic electrical and chemical etching lines. We have professional ceramic core leaching equipment, for efficient removal process of the ceramic core for hollow blades. In addition, we have advanced Seco/Warwick vacuum heat treatment furnaces featured for precise and stable temperature control, fully comply with the heat treatment standard (SAE AS7102) under NADCAP.

Sinmiao has inspection capability includes visual inspection, fluorescent penetration inspection (FPI), X-ray radiography, ultrasonic wall thickness measurement, coordinate measuring machine (CMM), 3D scanning and other laboratory tests. These comprehensive measures guarantee the full-process quality control of our products.
